“You guys know this team REALLY well, you need to stop acting so devastated or surprised when this Spurs team loses.
Winning 38 games and being a 10 seed would be BY FAR the worst thing that could happen. Losing 55+ games and getting a top 5 pick is essential to getting out of this horrible “in between contending and rebuild” the Spurs have been in since the Kawhi trade.
We should obviously cheer on our favorite team, but we should also (in a way) celebrate every loss! We NNNEEEEDDDD I Game changing generational talent if the Spurs are ever going to sniff an NBA championship again.
This start is EXACTLY WHAT IS NEEDED! I sincerely hope this continues for the rest of the season and they land a top pick. If they start winning and find themselves in that disgusting “play in” scenario again, THEN it’s time to panic and be devastated!!!”
