“JD is pretty good at what he does. Usually solo podcasts are snooze factories, but JD has the right cadence and formula to keep the show interesting. He incorporates listener opinions well. He’s charitable when he needs to be. He’s critical when he needs to be. The minor league guest appearances have been nice.
I think he can improve in three ways. He could brush up on Statcast data, he could bring in more guests who are well-informed about Cardinal baseball, and he really needs to read some more articles. Occasionally, he misses key details that could help drive discussion.”
