The captain of the Dallas Stars Jamie Benn is off to his best month of the season. In seven games in March, Benn has already racked up 10 points which is his highest point total for any month this season. He also has been deadly on the power play, three goals and three assists. He has certainly benefited from Wyatt Johnston and Logan Stankoven, but Jamie is top three on the team in points since the all star break. He has become a great playmaker along side two young stars in the making. Coming out of practice on Tuesday, we learned Jani Hakanpaa is Day-to-Day with a lower body injury and Tyler Seguin is a game time decision. Seguin has almost missed a month with a lower body injury. With Hakanpaa possibly being out tonight, Nils Lundkvist would fill that role and be reunited with Ryan Suter. Seguin of course would jump right back in with Matt Duchene and Mason Marchment. The Stars face off with the Arizona Coyotes who have plummeted in the standings the past two months. Led by Connor Ingram in net and Clayton Keller up front, the Yotes are young and talented, but are way out of a playoff spot. Which means nothing for the Stars who have had their fair share of scares against teams in the bottom of the standings.
