“This is an excellent podcast! While primarily Catholic in nature the exegesis of the passages in terms of the Greek and literal meaning of the the text is excellent. I have learned a lot. I primarily listen on the Hallow app where I first listen to the daily readings, then a short homily about the readings and then the Daily Exegesis. This gives me a well rounded view of the biblical passages for the day.
I like most of all that I know I am joking with thousands of Christians across the world in hearing and praying through the same scriptures. Catholics understand the power of the unity of the church in this way better than most evangelicals. This podcast is faithful to the gospels and logically explains and presents all Chris’s done for us on the cross.
I do admit to skipping over the ones that are mostly about Mary and I think she would be totally appalled at anyone worshipping her. Other than that it is easy to “eat the meat and spit out the bones” with this podcast.
All in all I highly recommend this podcast to anyone looking for a through and straight forward exegesis of daily gospel readings.”
