This is the content I CRAAAAAVE!
We need to have more discussions like the one Jamie Loftus is leading us through in Lolita. Too often we just accept a hive mindset on a movie’s or piece of literature’s themes and before we know it, we have a piece like Lolita revered as a story filled with sexy appeal and not what it actually is, a man victimizing a young girl and gaslighting us to believe he’s in a love story. And not only is she leading us into this discussion, she’s going to run a companion book club! If you need a place to funnel some rage and deep think about what you’ve been taught about women and your own sexuality through the literature and media presented to you, I highly recommend this podcast.

Loved the first episode. One suggestion: the sound seems way quieter than other podcasts, had to turn stereo all the way up to hear. Other than this love it so far, great host and have learned way more than I ever knew about Lolita before in only one episode. Looking forward to more episodes.
