Hearing Jamie talk about Delores with so much love and kindness inspires me to read Lolita for the first time. I can’t wait to listen to the rest of the podcast. Lolita has become a trope or an idea based on the mind of the abuser. Thank you for bringing an intelligent feminist view to an oft misrepresented work, I myself assumed the worst but I’m excited to learn more!

I’ve never actually read Lolita, my knowledge of it has always been vaguely from the zeitgeist. This is such a fascinating, well researched podcast that brings context to it.
