Très Bien!!!
I really enjoyed this show. It is really nice that they took the time to understand the theology of ancient Egypt and then creating a compelling story to surround it. It is a really, really good podcast. I would like to add a quick couple of highlights that I don’t think was covered in the show (or I missed it): • R. O. Faulkner has what scholars agree is the best transition of The Papyrus of Ani (The Book of The Dead) • I don’t think they mentioned The Coffin Texts. It was The Pyramid Texts, then The Coffin Texts, and then finally The Papyrus of Ani. • The Egyptian gods where really void of character in all the texts I have read with them in it. They largely exist to serve a role and that seems to be about it. • Ancient Egyptian texts are hard to understand without first understanding ancient understanding of flat earth and things like the premarital waters. Ideas adopted latter by ancient Abrahamic faiths. • Depending on the source, either Sumerian or Egyptian are the oldest of all known religions. I really did love this podcast, I feel they really did put a lot of love into this show. It was very refreshing to hear.

Cast with yet another cluster of American high school level actors. The dialogue is awkward and clunky.

I really wanted to like this podcast. The premise was cool but I couldn’t get through the first episode - lots of dialogue that didn’t advance the story and poor voice acting.
