“The 247 family of podcasts is a mixed bag. The Blitz provides the best Texas football analysis I can find and it’s easy to love the personalities delivering it to you.
The Flagship, on the other hand, leaves much to be desired. I’m not interested in Chip Brown’s delivery and I feel the information also leaves much to be desired. Chip essentially provides a headline with very little insight, and little analysis that does not immediately come to mind.
The recruiting shows were previously tied for my favorite with the Blitz, but the personnel changes have hurt the content and the frequency of shows. Where they were once at least weekly (or every other), the shows are now very occasional.”

“I listen to all Longhorn podcasts available and Longhorn Blitz is my favorite. Jeff, Rod and Matt have a chemistry and are fun to listen to. I like the fair critique of Texas Football they offer each week and think they do a better job than the other podcasts out there, including the paywall pods.”
