Worldbuilding with Style
The Lorekeepers podcast introduces new stories, characters, and locations each week as the hosts - Carter and Frank - collaborate in building a richly detailed and engaging fantasy world. Those generally interested in fantasy will find things to love here (an evolving magic system, fantasy races with flare, diverse deities), but worldbuilders, anyone interested in fictional histories and mythologies, and those that appreciate functional fantasy settings (the world being built can be used for D&D) will be particularly engaged. Any podcast is only as good as its host(s). Frank and Carter have a playful and welcoming rapport that invites listeners to laugh along and revel in their on-mic realizations and discoveries. There is a literal invitation, too, as they open the floor listeners to engage with them and participate in the creative process online at the end of each episode! In a nutshell, the podcast makes me happy.

Fantastic dive into the process of worldbuilding though example. The world they created together is an amazing tapestry of interconnected stories and ideas makes me wish I had a fellow world builder to bounce ideas off of

I’m only a few episodes in, but really enjoy the narratives at the beginning. Along with everything after involving the actual Worldbuilding.
