“I love your podcast. I am especially drawn to how you encourage not only time with friends and family but making time for yourself and loving your own company. At the end do the day, we spend the most time with ourselves . You remind us to date ourselves, see the beauty in the every day, appreciate our surroundings and the things we enjoy. There are so many topics you discuss which really resonate with me especially grief as I lost my Mom. My heart will always “grief”. It is so true how we can feel like we don’t belong somehow especially with those who never have experienced a great loss. We can feel very alone. The other was a statement you made after you went to New York as to why do many of us feel we have downplay our lives. It’s almost like we are apologizing for when times are good. I was thinking an episode on this would be beneficial as most people have a “but” when expressing something good in their lives. I don”t know if it is guilt, a feeling that if we get too comfortable or too happy it will go away…the “other shoe will drop” and/or empathy and sympathy from others makes us feel seen and comforted in some way. Thank you for being an inspiration. 💗😁”
