Hooliganism and violence against happy and glorious football fans is not alright.
The co-host justification of violence against fans of another nationality, celebrating a victory against the host nation is worrying.
A nation can’t host a tournament if the citizens think its acceptable to hurt other fans.
Remember Germany destroyed Brazil’s national team 7-1 on Brazilian soil in 2014 and it wasn’t attacks against German fans in Brazil we heard about.
If you think it’s super cool to hurt other people because your national team lost a football game, you have a problem. This guy might not be a hooligan, but he really sound like one unfortunately.
Angie comment (before the co-host comment) was more about the libs and their reaction. But I disagree with her assumption that the Italians who saw the game at Wembley was “rich”. Most of them lived in England (overseas fans was limited because of corona) and they could be working class, middle class willing to spend a lot of money on a ticket to a important event for their nation. Luckily she says violence isn’t right.”
