“I am primarily a bass fisherman from middle GA, but I am a reel guy at heart. I spent countless hours in 2017 watching Captan Jeff stick lunkers and cracking jokes on YouTube. February of 2018, after loads of research, I brought my Hobie kayak to south Florida and Ran That Dog like a real guy. I got at least a dozen, every trip, and some proper hog legs too. The goal was my first tarpon. I caught all the common species down there for the first time and hooked up with a big tarpon on day #5, between haulover and govt pass. Owe it all to Captian Jeff. Stoked listening to your podcast. Its almost like hanging with an old friend.
PS I wasn’t sportin no braid, rockin 15-20lb hiviz big game, mono leaders, mutu light 5/0-7/0, ugly sticks and penns. Confession, when I was exploring, I might have been spot stealin part of the time.”
