As we approach the end of the year we look back with American triathlete, Taylor Spivey. Taylor is one of the most consistent performers in short course triathlon and is bouncing back after a late season injury to secure her spot for the Paris Olympics after being left off the team in 2021. We discuss the pathway to the Olympics, challenges short-course athletes are facing and why and why she is looking forward to racing longer distance races after Paris. Taylor talk a lot about the mental burden of being a professional triathlete and gives her thoughts on how things can be improved.
