Six Inches of Soil - an inspiring story of British Farmers
Listen now
Description
Joining host Matt Tilt in this episode is Colin Ramsay of DragonLight films, chatting about his brand new labour of love, Six Inches of Soil, a documentary feature film which showcases the "inspiring story of British farmers standing up against the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food - to heal the soil, benefit our health and provide for local communities". He talks about how the film aims to give "farmers the confidence and practical know-how to adopt nature-friendly farming practices; gives consumers the impetus to rethink food choices and information about how to buy and support agroecologically produced food; and to create a groundswell of opinion resulting in policy change and public and private funding for a British agroecological transition".
