Charlie was the reason I listened to this podcast anyway
I’ll echo another commenter’s sentiment of thanks for the farewell/explanation for the ending of this podcast. I’ve been listening for a few years, and while I found Kevin’s contribution more than adequate and often great and interesting, I have always liked Charlie better (and not just for the British accent, which is fantastic by the way!). He seems governed by a more steady, principled thinking and his ideas were not irrationally captured by his personal feelings on individuals or groups of people as it seemed Kevin’s were. It’s fitting he went to the Dispatch (had to quit listening to Jonah a long time ago due to similar sentiments). Looking forward to Charlie’s next podcast project. I’ll have to just continue to get his wonderfully articulated ideas and commentary on the Editors where I listen to him and other great National Review folks regularly as well. Also, I loved the confusing endings that just dropped off. They cracked me up.
