Incredible Journey
“Own who you are.” Yusra Mardini’s admonition is powerful given the the reality of the odds she faced leaving war-torn Syria to pursue a new life, and Olympic swimming, in Germany. Her pride in being a refugee and desire to help others who seek a new life in an unknown country is beyond inspiring. I was unaware of Yusra’s story before tonight, and I cannot wait to watch the Netflix movie of her journey. Thank you, Tom, for having this amazing person on your podcast.

Wonderful! The last episode was quite a while ago. Are you able to say whether this this podcast is continuing or not? 🙂
