Overcoming Setbacks and Obstacles: Josiah Deguara
Listen now
Description
Josiah Deguara just finished his rookie season as a tight end for the Green Bay Packers. He was drafted in the third round with the 94th overall pick. While his first season didn’t go the way he would have planned, with a season-ending ACL tear, Josiah is no stranger to setbacks and obstacles. He overcame injuries and setbacks in his freshman and sophomore seasons at the University of Cincinnati. He didn’t give up and went on to have two breakout years. Josiah’s story is a reminder that setbacks and obstacles are not the end; that even in the midst of delay, you can still overcome.
