Fitness trends are influenced by our society and the way we live. For some, walking and crunches may suffice for a weekly ritual, for others the exercise is more intensely focused. In a recent survey, conduced by the American College of Sports Medicine, the top fitness trends were revealed for 2013. For a further analysis on these trends, how they’re impacting the fitness industry, and how students are being prepared online for the new shift, we turned to Program Director Brian Freeland for his insight into this study.
