Since the pandemic, there has been an increasingly vocal call from agencies worldwide to ditch the pitch and trade media have run headlines and opinion pieces claiming the pitch is broken and even dead. As Australia’s and APAC’s leading pitch consultancy, we noticed that while there were plenty of opinions, there was very little data on this topic, so we undertook our own research called The State of the Pitch in Australia. Run from June to December last year, the report makes it interesting to read what is going on and what is going wrong with pitching.
