Loving The New Direction in Season 2
New Updated Review: I am so thankful for yesterday’s episode on having a healthy relationship with food and body image. I love the flow, tone, and the direction it was going as it was very well-thought out and respectful as well as very genuine and relatable. Yesterday’s episode meant so much to me as I was finally able to now open up about my health/fitness journey and it helps to know that I’m not alone. I love the welcoming, non-judgmental, and encouraging tone she puts out in this one as it’s so true that it’s important to replace the comments on weight and making the comments about the other person such as saying that they’re glowing and I also am in love with the Facebook group as I see a lot of encouragement and support for one another in the group. I’m totally in for the long haul as I can tell that Season 2 is going to be AMAZING!!!!!! Never miss a Monday my friends. Previous Review (Once It’s Out There, It’s Out There Forever, Even If You Delete It): I absolutely love Tori and this podcast to death, but the only issue I have with it is on how she words some of her messages ever since ranting and manifesting for states to reopen when she made that comment about Target being an essential business. And while I feel her frustrations as a business owner myself (almost) and it’s ok to vent and I know she did not have any intentions to hurt anybody as we are all human, I think the words in her rant has disappointed some people since for me, it had me question her character and at that time, I sort of lost respect and trust for her at that time since I don’t think she was careful with her words, although I forgive her. Also, this was not the only time I noticed this. In one of her earlier episodes when we discuss about the ugly side of healthy eating, she mentioned about one of the YouTubers that she’s not very fond of due to her toxic mindset and while I understand that she was trying to make a point, I don’t think it’s appropriate and her plate to mention about someone’s health history, especially when it comes to eating disorders because it can be triggering to some because eating disorders are something that the individual has to live with, knowing that they did this to themselves, so for her to say that this one person has an eating disorder is not her place and it sounded very harsh. Otherwise, I wish her nothing but the best as I’m very happy for her otherwise and despite my feedback, I enjoy the other episodes as they are overall positive, inspiring, and comforting. Once again, this is to not make her feel bad or change her in anyway as her feelings and opinions are valid, this is just a little something to work on, that’s all. Thanks always for the great pick-me-ups. Keep being you and keep doing what you’re doing. Love you girl.
