“Interesting story. I became increasingly distracted by how people pronounced “Oregon”. Wish it had been consistent throughout the podcast. Sometimes, I thought the story was taking place in the state vs the city.

“Dorothy’s voice is annoyingly contrived. Too calm, too smooth, and she’s clearly reading a script. Doesn’t work as a true crime podcast , but maybe as plain old storytelling”

“Wondery podcasts are usually at least a little entertaining. This is just disconcerting. Did they use volunteer voice actors?? One or two people reading from a script in some sections. Then maybe a first hand account from a relative?? Confusion and frankly not worth trying to figure out.”
