Skip seasons 3 and 7; the rest are fantastic
This is definitely a show worth listening to while commuting, but seasons 3 and 7 are skippable. The backstory and premise of season 3 is head-scratchingly illogical and boring; instead of setting up a vision of a supernatural, futuristic version of our world, it sadly falls to the same tropes and generally predictable plot as Ready Player One without the excellent voice acting and music and sound effects that I’ve come to expect of realm productions and the other seasons. The same goes for Season 7. I ended up choosing to listen to the garbled nonsense of conversations on the subway rather than bore myself to sleep. The other seasons are gripping, attention-grabbing and well done!

I really enjoyed this story. Narration was clear. Good character development. It’s an intergalactic opera. I’ve been trying to find one

Realm has been killing it lately with all the talent they’ve been getting - especially with the writers, producers, and narrators. Everything is just super well curated and produced.
