Most Memorable Business Failure Early in my career I met a key person who could have helped me, and I blew the chance by talking too much.  I am one who likes to tell stories, but I learned that you have to ask more questions when you meet someone new.  This person trashed me to some other key people (who told me), and never would give me a second chance to get to know each other. I learned to not blabber on (as much)… and I learned to be a person who gives second chances easily. Ah-Ha Moment I had spent years hoping and wishing…. But on April 1st 2009 I got laid off from a corporate marketing job… and had to take the leap. I never looked back.
