“I love the show. But Adriene Hill (and Lizzie O’Leary on the weekend show) gives such a forced delivery. It seems like they are both trying to add personality to their voice but it comes off weird. Both are great their job. It’s just the delivery. Unfortunately since it’s a voice-only medium, voices manner. I just wish both of them would speak in their natural voices. Both seem to be trying to have a “personality voice” like Kai and they just can’t match how he does it. He comes across like he’s talking in his normal voice. Adriene and Lizzie don’t. I just have to turn it off when they are on. Molly Wood though does a great job both in her overall job and in her voice delivery. I love and listen to all the shows except for the weekend one (because Lizzie’s the host) and now I have to give up Marketplace Tech until Ben Johnson gets back.”
