“The experts’ success rates for matching couples is slimmer than Clint likes his women. Just when you think all hope may be gone in this dark, lonely world, Jason and Aysha show that a perfect match IS possible. Sure, their match may not be romantic, but they’re the perfect podcast match. Even toward the end of each season when each episode feels like a repetitive nothingburger and I don’t know if I can bear another episode, one thing keeps me watching: Jason Reed and Aysha Wealth. I want to be in the know so I can nod along while I enjoy the podcast. I love their banter, and I love how they razz each other. Not many people in my life watch MAFS, but listening to Jason and Aysha discuss each episode replaces my need to decompress about each episode with a friend.
Bonuses: I love Aysha’s focus on the dogs of MAFS (Pepper and Cinnamon are the low-key stars of the podcast, btw). I love Jason’s voice (including his impressions. The Lindsey impression is elite).
Minuses: Aysha needs to give Jason a harder time about his “chicken nugget man” food restrictions. Jason needs office decor and more pervert Cal impressions.
Above all, it’s clear how well-prepared both are for each episode. I always leave with new thoughts and insights, which make me enjoy the show even more. Thanks for all the time invested in watching this dumpster fire with us. I’ve listened to a few MAFS podcasts, but but this is far and away the best one out there, and it’s not even close.
PS: I was really impressed with Jason’s restraint when Lauren and Orion broke up. He could have rubbed an “I told you so” in Aysha’s face after she was so high on the couple, but Jason took the high road. Golf clap to you, good sir!”
