I love MASH so much that I listened to about 100 of these podcasts. I really like that the podcasts are named and cover each episode of MASH sequentially, but number. The early podcasts with 3 hosts are better, as are any of the first 20 you choose to listen too. However, the more you listen, the more you want to skip ahead 15-30 seconds because you already know what the hosts will say. I like the introduction of each episode, which includes info on the specific episode, season, date, production code, and guest stars. I could live without the list of other shows guests have appeared on, though its pretty funny that most also appeared on Quincy. What I could live without are the hosts feelings about each episode. I'm surprised they dislike many of my favorite episodes, but the recurring criticisms and explanations made me stop listening all together. In general the hosts - especially Kenny - hates to see infidelity in the plot, which is like saying you don't like all the stuff about the army, injured, drinking, and pranks. That IS the show. Kenny gets caught up repeating his feelings about each episode over and over. I often disagree with Medz opinion of specific scenes, but he is concise, so I can appreciate those differences. The hosts are good at pointing out inconsistencies, conflicting stories, and actions out-of-character to the characters. I've been criticized for this myself and learned - from Tolkien's essays that we are co-creators in fiction: we can fill in the gaps by imagining how this situation might unfold. Assume that every brief episode presents only the highlights. It's up to us to fill in the gaps. Furthermore, real humans are inconsistent, hypocritical, and evolve, and good people sometime do bad things, or the wrong thing for the right reasons. Keep up the good work, but maybe a little more analysis and creativity, and less about you felt about about the episode personally. Please. I want to love this podcast.

I like it. Simple and entertaining and I learn more about MASH to boot. Well done. Suggestion - every time there is a problem in the consistency of a MASH episode you don't need to make an excuse, Kenny. It happens.

Just discovered your Pod casts guys. Great stuff. Been a MASH fan since age 12 when I was allowed to watch it, and I'm 52 next month. Gulp! Lucky enough to have a signed photo of all the final season Mash cast - including dear ol' Harry Morgan - which now sells on ebay at a fair price as a...Read full review »
