Listen now
Description
In this episode, Jean and Joe interview the founder and CEO of Lonvest, Roman Katerynchyk. We dig into how P2P lending for consumer loans works, and what kind of models power the decisions to give loans or not to new customers. We discuss the ethical side of P2P lending, and the big issue with millions of unbanked people in developing countries. For example: 44% of Vietnam's population was unbanked in 2022, but a higher percentage remains under-banked. Only 6% of the population in Vietnam have credit cards. We also talk about how Lonvest works, why Roman started this new business after many years in the fintech and traditional consumer loans space, and what comes next for the platform. Roman also explains how Lonvest is differentiating itself in the market and bringing a new level of transparency to the game. Invest on Lonvest Links * Lonvest * Roman's Linkedin
