Martin is soaked in something wet and cold. The ground beneath him is covered in over a foot of molasses. Confused, Martin thinks he’s fallen off a boat out at sea. He doesn't realize that he is still at home, in his own bedroom. A bedroom that no longer exists. Instead, it lies in ruins, just like much of the rest of Boston.
