“The handmaids tale is so brilliant. Literally every aspect of it. I’ve never seen a more empowering show as a woman. It shows that no matter what’s happening in the world, it can’t tear us down. I want to hear people who appreciate the show and the brilliance of it. I agree with the other reviewers that you guys really don’t have enough appreciation/passion for the show and the story and the larger lessons it is teaching us. Ps: in my opinion, this is the most binge worthy show. I also do not like the show walking dead or any other “dark” shows. I think me and my opinions just differ so much from these ladies that I don’t find it enjoyable. I want a much more deeper analysis and to talk about how our society and parts of it relate to Gilead. Because it is an exaggerated version of our world. You almost talk about it like the people who wrote or created this story are bad instead of looking into the concepts that are “bad””

“Love this podcast. It focuses on the show while addressing cultural comparisons. Hints of theory here and there! The additional cast and show runner interviews. Great part of my Wednesday Handmaiden Binge.”
