I tried
I originally liked this podcast, but as I continued listening the rhetoric got stronger instead of getting lost in the FICTIONAL land of Gilead. They slammed religion, even though the religion of Gilead is also fiction. Side note: They took all opportunity to slam Christianity yet not the parallels to Islam. The last straw was the “voting for monsters” post on their Facebook page. If you can take your one sided blinders off for one moment, you would know that situations like the holding place for ILLEGAL immigrant children has been going on for years, as well as high numbers of deportation even under your King Obama. I am fully aware of extremism on BOTH sides, but your position is that there is only extremists of your “alt-right”. Your blinders and bias is too much for me, as I was hoping for fun talk about a fictional dystopian society.

They certainly seem like nice people, but I’m listening to this podcast for some hard hitting Handmaids Tale discussion. It takes forever to even get to that point, and they easily get off topic. I am moving on.
