Tough journey
You and your friends journey are so helpful because I don’t feel so alone anymore. Raised by a mom who had no time for me or my older sister. She was busy dealing with her new alcoholic husband. I have some horrible memories of that time. I have little to no good childhood memories. With that said, I am in my 60’s, my kids avoid me, I have no close friends (we moved a lot growing up). I never felt accepted by my mom. My kids don’t need me anymore,(or so I feel), I got divorced after 32 years of marriage because I didn’t know why I SO depressed and lonely. I know, I know, TMI. Counseling had been helpful but expensive. I’m still looking for my peeps. Never felt good about myself. Question: When abuse and neglect happened during early childhood, is there any hope? Any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated. Still having trouble navigating this Journey. Thank!

If there was ever a time for a podcast like this, now is the time. I’m looking forward to it. Not that I need it, not me but just everybody around me.I hope this podcast is very, very successful and that the word gets out. I know I’ll be spreading the word, high and low, far and wide.
