Disappointed
Not a review, just a statement: I’m very disappointed, as a fan of golf (any golf). You state that you protect players and make sure they get cover. What Phil did, take steps to create a competing league while playing on the PGA tour, was definitely wrong. Phil is representing this as good for the PGA tour. While there are a few things (PIP & higher tournament prize money) which have been brought forward. Let’s not kid ourselves, Phil wants more money for himself, while taking it away from “lower tier”players. As a fan, I’m not sure I want to support dishonest reporters, players who are greedy and most of competitive golf not caring about the fans. I cannot be the only fan that does not want to support what seems like an increasingly corrupt and fraudulent sport and the journalists around it.

As usual a great podcast but…the seeming defence of Mickelson came as a huge surprise. You cannot defend the indefensible. And the apparent criticism of Rory is way offline. He simply put into words what all reasonable people wanted to say. Still it provokes discussion.

A podcast that has really found its stride after what felt like marginally shambolic beginnings. Its refusal to conform or be sycophantic gives it an important role in the professional game.
