Listen now
Description
Ken and Lou dive into Edward Norton's rendition of The Incredible Hulk (2008) and the first Thor movie. Both movies are hard to view during a re-watch but Thor is arguably the most important table setter of the stories in Phase 1. Many characters introduced have gone on to hold pivotal roles throughout the greater MCU cannon and Thor is where it all began. The guys discuss the challenges Marvel Studios faced with creating a standalone sequel for the big green guy. Was it smart to develop Hulk's character arc as features in other movies (Civil War, Ragnarok, End Game)? Why was The Incredible Hulk considered a failure? Was the switch to Mark Ruffalo an upgrade after all?
