Collaborative Story Telling
First things first and the most important for this kind of thing. The audio levels and microphone quality are acceptable for both people. I have not listened to every episode yet, but so far each one is audible and understandable. Content wise, this is the first time I have listened to a 1 on 1 game. It is quite interesting how taken in aggregate it is quite similar to a more typical game with multiple players. However, due to the one player nature, the DM and that player are able to focus the entirety of the focus in one area. Which brings me to the collaborative story telling bit. It really does feel as if two people are riffing off each other to tell a single story without being pulled in so many directions that the thread is lost.
