“I used to be the biggest fan. I used to LOVE everything meateater. But somewhere in the last few years it has become a corporate shell of what it used to be. The initial passion doesn’t seem like it’s there anymore. It feels like they’ve cashed it in and spend more time thinking about their new summer beach houses than hunting. And more and more I hear phrases like “white people this” and “white people that” and just other politically/racially charged social justice warrior talk that I finally have to admit to myself that I need to give up on meateater. It’s not what it used to be and it makes me sad.”
