Medicine, Muslims and Missions
Listen now
Description
The Great Command and the Great Commission call us to love and to make disciples of Muslims, our monotheistic cousins. Christians in medicine are wonderfully placed at the juxtaposition of these two commands. In this session we draw on the experience of the past 35 years of medical missions in a fundamentalist Muslim society to identify some of the barriers to faith, to see how working in the context of medical care can help to surmount them, to offer practical suggestions, and to share some of the joys inherent in this work. Session recorded on Thursday, November 9th during Session Block #1 at 3:45PM EST ; speaker: Luke Cutherell https://www.medicalmissions.com/events/gmhc-2023/sessions/medicine-muslims-and-missions
