A growing range of gaming facts and trivia!
There have only been a couple of episodes at the writing of this review, but from how this podcast has started it’s definitely heading in a direction I’m interested in. PushDustIn is a creator that I’ve been a fan of for a while and it is always exciting hearing trivia about Japanese gaming from someone who is an expert and has the skills to do some thorough research. I’d say something about SuperBentendo as a host, but unfortunately I have not had experience with his content in the past. Building the podcast around a rotating expert role is a clever way to build on a dynamic and keep things fresh in the future and the prospect of guest experts is something that’ll be interesting to see develop as well. So far we’ve learnt about the history of Pokémon and the fact that the first games were in development for much longer than I expected as well as a beetle fighting game developed by Sakurai himself. Where Regis goes in the future I’m not sure, could be anywhere, but I’m definitely along for the ride!
