“Actually listening to all the content available on the Men in Blazers feed would be exhausting. Especially when Roger Bennett is hosting by himself, the various podcast venues have become an exercise in Rog repeating himself or giving the same tired analyses to whatever is currently happening in World/English football.
The feed gets better when Rog has an interlocutor like Michael Davies or Rory Smith. This allows Rog to settle in his role as a oddly literate wag who contributes occasional genuinely funny comments.
By himself, Rog drones on, as if afraid that allowing more than one or two MiB-less days in the week would condemn the whole podcast enterprise to oblivion.”
