A message that is needed
In a sea of cynical and nihilistic zombie stories, this audio drama stands as a beacon much like the light house in the story. The concept of daily short episodes (5-8 minutes) seemed odd to me at first, but it’s shortness is what makes it so impactful. No time for a lot of the fluff and such that most audio drama’s are plagued with. I find myself tearing up and outright crying more often than not because of the connection I feel with the characters. I can’t say that about many other audio drama’s I listen to.

This podcast does the difficult job of being genuinely hopeful without sounding like an after school special. These characters feel real, warts and all. You grow to love and care for all of them because you are listening to them grow and learn and love in real time.
