Great Content, Annoying Voices
I mean this without cynicism, and intend no offense. Feedback should be candid and honest, with an eye to constructive change. The content on this podcast is truly top-notch. Among the various Reformed podcasts, I find myself most aligned ideologically, culturally, and theologically with you here, and am continuously educated by your subjects and guests. That said, your voices are hard to tolerate. The persistent vocal fry, high-end terminal, and general effeminate lilt are very difficult to tolerate from two grown men. This was at a fever pitch on the Jake Meader episode, whose book sounds so fascinating but whose voice is so intolerably grating that I had to bail 20 minutes in. This isn’t an age or generation thing. I’m 34, firmly in the millennial cohort. And if there’s one thing I’d change about my generation, it’s the NPR-esque effete manner of speech widely adopted by podcasters and radio broadcasters.

Love the combination of American and British Christian perspectives. Conservative but nuanced

I have listened to nearly every episode of this podcast and love hearing the thoughtful insights of Matt, Derek, Alistair and Andrew, along with their assorted guests. It provides a theological infusion into my week and helps me to think deeper about theology, life and the church. Mere Fidelity...Read full review »

Great show but the sheer amount of bickering and teasing gets old quick. Matt, stop picking on Derek! Fellas, keep up the good work.
