Anglicans do not believe in purgatory
In the podcast concerning Lewis’s Reflection on the Psalms, the discussion indicated that Lewis appears to have believed in purgatory because he was Anglican. While some Anglo-Catholics may believe in purgatory, Article 22 of the Articles of Religion (also know as the Thirty-Nine Articles) for the Church of England state that the “Romish Doctrine concerning Purgatory . . . [is] repugnant to the Word of God.” The Anglican Formularies (the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, the Book of Homilies, the Articles of Religion, and the Ordinal) are fully Protestant.

More reviews of Mere C.S. Lewis
The casual nature of this podcast is what sets this podcast apart from the others, as it helps me bridge the gap between Lewis’ writings and my own life, rather than approaching the writings as objective ideas to be considered at arms length. I’d highly recommend a listen!

I’ve enjoyed listening to this podcast. You know a C.S. Lewis podcast that kicks it off with Pilgrim’s Regress is legit. Keep it up! - Men with Chests

I like the idea of the podcast and can’t wait to hear more from the brothers. I’m looking forward to when they discuss Mere Christianity.
