“This appears to have started as a vehicle for the hosts to skewer various liberal filmmakers of the 90s and 00s. It’s outlived it’s original raison d’etre and it’s now more general film podcast, with occasional returns to its roots, for instance to review the latest in Nancy Pelosi’s daughters oeuvre. You can expect that any popcorn movie made between 1985-2001 will be described as intentionally set at the “end of history”. They cover goofy almost forgotten American movies, and also unreservedly good classic films, docs, horror. You’ll probably find some good ones to add to your watch list, and the hosts are well informed, adding clarifying details and context to the reviews.”
