Jennifer welcomes writer, pediatrician, advocate, and mother of three, Paria Hassouri. Two years ago, Paria was blindsided when her middle child came out as transgender. She now finds herself as a trans-rights advocate, using her voice to spread awareness and resources. She is currently writing a memoir, Found In Transition, about her own evolution during her daughter's transition. Her personal essays have been published in The Huffington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, among others.
