Through every recession, every depression … Wealth is redistributed, millionaires are made. Look at Covid, look at the markets during that time… GameStop, AMC… some people, millionaires overnight.. all during an unforeseen global pandemic.
During the toughest times of your life, usually there comes a time where you have to decide if you’re going to allow circumstance to defeat you, or if you’re going to regain control. The wealthy experience these time’s different than the rest of us, but they do all the same. It is during these times we learn the most, whether it be a new skill, new people… knowledge is acquired to avoid repeating the same. It’s why we all listen right ? We’re tired of the rat race… we want that control back.
I found this podcast on Twitter (shoutout Hugo)… From The Beginning, They Were Regular People. Educating others, sharing any and everything the came across, providing platforms for people that look like me, representation matters. Today I listen still the same, still genuine, there’s a different air to it tho. I feel as though I’m a part of something, a movement if you will. They Look like me, they’re my age, we come from similar backgrounds… I could be any of these people.
The Welby episodes made me speak up because he spoke to me, he woke something up that I didn’t know I had in regards to real estate, I knew I wanted to be successful, but not like this…. He packaged it in a way that made me feel like I was gettin the game from a passionate uncle, not a podcast guest. As a listener I felt he wanted me to acquire wealth, and that matters… people who care about me I care about, I care to learn from.
All in all, this is part review and part testimony from someone on their journey still. I hope to be a guest on this show one day, so my story can mean something the way each guests story means something to me. These people are giving us things that they (we know which they) want kept from us…. But they have to applaud instead. We earn and learn through hardship…. Which side of Wealth you gonna be on ?
