74. Feeling Hurt and BEING Kind. A Story of How To Do Both Well
Listen now
Description
Have you ever felt persecuted at a doctors office because the physician does not agree with your life choices and priorities? How about feeling persecuted by a family member for the way you are choosing to raise your kids? Maybe you've felt persecuted by your spouse when you expressed an opinion or desire. The truth is, we are GOING to get persecuted in most every area of our life. The magic is in the way you handle it. Do you become aggressive? Do you hide your hurt? Do you "one up them?" My recent experience at a doctors office was exactly what I didn't know I needed (and certainly wouldn't have chosen for myself at the time) to help me step further into who I really am. A wonderful woman that can feel hurt and be kind. I can show my hurt, rather than hiding it and be human and be kind. It really was so healing for me to experience that hurtful moment AND claim my opportunity. I hope this episode inspires you to treat people differently, even if you are being persecuted.
