Description
This podcast is dedicated to answering your questions. From business related queries like ‘How do you handle a bad boss?’, ‘When is breaking the rules okay?’ and ‘How do you re-energise the team?’ to more personal questions about my hobbies, and the questions I usually avoid answering! Knowing how to deal with a bad boss is one of the biggest challenges faced by both employees and business leaders. Ultimately, people do not leave bad businesses, they leave bad managers. In fact, a recent poll of more than a million workers in America revealed that 75% of workers who voluntarily left their roles did so because of their boss, not the role that they were in. When you invest in your leadership layer, it filters through the entire team, which ultimately could make or break your business. I have seen examples and the consequences of both. In this episode, I share those experiences and my advice on how you can handle a bad boss as an employee, and how to avoid being a bad boss as a leader. During this episode I also share the hardest lesson I’ve learned in business, a topic I usually avoid. And, I tell you why I want to make a billion pounds, I bet it isn’t for the reasons you may think! This podcast answers your questions head on. Key takeaways: How to handle a bad boss How to ensure the rules you set aren’t broken Why it’s vital you find the ying and yang of business Discover the greatest motivator to re-energise your team Why I’d have a long conversation with my younger self!
