Best of All Worlds
I am an avid podcast listener. I listen to every genre from journalism to comedy to horror to advice podcasts. This one has it all. (Wait, what? Horror too? Yes, horror too, horror stories of creepy racists). It’s a delight every week to listen to Nnekay and James, and they make my Monday Part II (aka Tuesday) bearable. This podcast is informative and will captivate you. It incorporates humor with pop culture references and issues we can all relate to. Current events are discussed with easy to understand back ground/history lessons, which makes this an easy listening even when discussing very hard hitting topics. Every week I learn something new I can share with my friends and family. If you want to be informed of issues relating inequality, racism, sexism, lgbtq, and every intersectionality within all those things and many more, you have to listen to this. Also, even if you don’t know these two wonderful people personally, you will feel like you are part of a hang out session where you come out with a lot of knowledge. Who wouldn’t want that?! Our media is dominated by homogenous sources, Minority Korner is a breath of fresh air. You are doing yourself a disservice if you are not listening this podcast. Don’t be a fool.

This white, midwestern woman needs a little help saying in the know sometimes.

I recently started listening to James and Nnekay and I love them. They never mince words or suffer fools, but I each podcast leaves me feeling welcomed, loved, and wanting to do great things to make our world better.

I came for the essays, I stayed for the delightful banter. This podcast gives me well-researched and deeply engaging information, but the heart is two hosts who are just a delight to listen to as they banter.
