6: Rohingya Repatriation Survey
Listen now
Description
Will Rohingya refugees of the recent crisis be returning home to Myanmar any time soon? What will repatriation look like, and, most importantly, what does return mean for the Rohingya? Xchange has been investigating this in their new Repatriation Survey. Through over 1700 surveys across a dozen camps, Xchange has been trying to listen to the voices of the people repatriation will affect. They say that an overwhelming number of refugees want to go back, but not to a situation that forced them to leave in the first place. Joining us to talk about their findings is Research Analyst, Ioannis Papasilekas. @xchange_org  #survey #repatriation #Rohingya #refugees #NGO #muslim #minority #bangladesh #camps #myanmar #rakhine #rights #identity #exclusion #aidstation #shamlapur #unchiprang #podcast #MOAS #migrantoffshoreaidstation #moaspodcast #cox’sbazar #nayapara #kutupalong #balukhali
