“I had a hysterectomy at age 46. I am now 62. I was on an estrogen patch for a few years but then my body suddenly decided we didn’t need it anymore because I got a rash from the patch. Well it was wrong because I still have hot flashes. They’re not as bad but they are worse when I drink coffee or eat too much chocolate. At this point in my life, I’ll suffer the hot flash because I want my coffee and chocolate dammit! Alas, the things we women go through. Anyway, screw the naysayers and just keep on being the awesome lovely ladies you are.
