Today on the podcast we have with us Renowned English model Karen Elson who has walked runways for everyone from Alexander McQueen to Chanel, Valentino, and Gucci, been the face of countless campaigns and graced magazine covers shot by leading photographers around the Globe. Listen to Dr. Allie and Bridget Malcolm speak with Karen on her journey with an eating disorder, emotional well-being and how she has come to a place of radical self-acceptance. In addition to being a model, Karen’s blossoming music career has seen the release of two full-length albums, The Ghost Who Walks and Double Roses, securing Elson’s position as a tour de force in the worlds of fashion and entertainment over her two decade-long career. 2020 saw the release of her first EP, Radio Redhead, Vol. 1, and book ‘The Red Flame’ with Rizzoli Publishing. She can currently be seen as the face of Moschino Resort 2022 while being a leading advocate for model rights in the workplace. Her latest song, the electric “Lightning Strikes,” was co-written and produced alongside the award-winning musical duo of Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk and is a taste of what’s to come from Karen’s forthcoming third full title release, signaling a new era for her as well as direction in sound.
